Weekend Roundup

it's 3pm on Friday and you don't have any plans! Don't fret...

Indulge this weekend with a bubbly wine dinner, a creamery field trip, or a free wine tasting of French and Italian wines.

We suggest you reserve a seat at Crane & Turtle's Bubbly Dinner on Sunday, September 27. Wine Director, Elizabeth Parker, will guide you through the 5 courses each paired with a sparkling wine. Only one rule, no Champagne. Today's the last day to purchase tickets, buy now!

Or how about a field trip with Blue Duck Tavern to visit a creamery in Maryland? We told you about this exciting excursion earlier this month.  Cheese-lovers will join Blue Duck Tavern’s Chef de Cuisine Brad Deboy and Cheese Specialist Sophie Slesinger for a tour of the creamery followed by a lesson on the complexities and nuances of different styles of cheese with wine pairings.  After the tour and lesson, attendees will enjoy a family-style lunch prepared by Chef Deboy in celebration of the harvest season. Reserve your spot today!

Maybe you're looking for something free and fun. Our friends at MacArthur Beverages always has something open to taste on the weekends. This Saturday they'll be pouring some French and Italian wines from Oenos Imports.  Wines include 2014 Erste-Neue Pinot Grigio, 2013 Daniel Crochet Sancerre, 2012 Chateau Maris Minervois “Old School”, 2011 Chateau Maris Minervois La Liviniere Continuite de Nature and more! Tasting is from 1-4pm. RSVP and learn more about the wines here.
