After hours, I combine my passion for writing, socializing, and imbibing.
I think my interest in wine began at age 12 when I watched an episode of Frasier, where the two brothers compete in an intense tasting to become the “Cork Master” of an elite wine club. Many years later I visited Napa Valley, which solidified my passion for drinking wine, as well as the science and folklore surrounding it.
Since then I have visited wineries, distilleries, and breweries all over the US as well as abroad. I love investigating new trends in wine, as well as it’s rich history. Also, as an animal advocate, I have an appetite for finding wines that pair well with vegetarian and vegan dishes. After traveling for much of my life, it seems fitting that I have landed in DC, with its profusion of ideas, art, culture, and cuisine. My day job is at an education nonprofit, and after hours I combine my passion for writing, socializing, and imbibing.
I am am thrilled to be a part of Young Winos of DC, and share the best of what our city has to offer you hip, young wine drinkers!
